The major concern list of 2009 Ningbo Top 100 Enterprises released on the afternoon of July 31. Meanwhile, it first announced the Top 100 Ningbo manufacturing. Guangbo Group ranked in the top 36 of the top 100 enterprises, and was listed as top 21 of manufacturing.

It is reported that top 100 enterprises only accounted for about 1% of Ningbo manufacturing above designated size. The income of 2008 sales added up to 496.8 billion yuan, which was 10.2% over the same period last year. Affected by financial crisis, the top 100 enterprises’ profits per capita, rate of return on assets and sales income profit rate have been dropped.

However, the top 100 list also showed Ningbo traditional superior industry like clothing, electrical appliances and stationery still having outstanding performance. Enterprises which were shortlisted were as following, Guangbo Group (3.496 billion yuan, No.36), Deli Group (2.231 billion yuan, No.51) and so on.

Municipal Enterprise Confederation found top 100 enterprises showed the disequilibrium of local distribution. About 90% enterprises were focused on northern economic circle (Cixi, Yuyao, Yinzhou, Beilun, Zhenhai and the three old districts), while the top 100 enterprises in the southern economic circle (Fenghua, Ninghai, Xiangshan) have little amount. Besides, from the ordering of top 100 enterprises, there has been a continuous increase in the northern economic circle.
