“The 60th anniversary of the founding of new China Ningbo most successful enterprise” award ceremony and 2009 Ningbo merchant summit was held in Nanyuan Hotel on the afternoon of September 6. Wang Yong, municipal party committee member and executive vice mayor, and CPPCC Vice-Chairman Chang Minyi attended the award ceremony. Zhejiang Guangbo Group President Wang Liping represent company to receive the most successful enterprises award.

It is reported that this selecting activity was jointly sponsored by Ningbo Evening Agency,, Ningbo Merchant Developing Institute, Ningbo Enterprise Confederation, Ningbo Research Institute of Enterprise Culture and Xinqiao Newspaper these five units. The organizer Ningbo merchant summit organizing committee combined with Ningbo 60-year development, selected 60 Ningbo most successful enterprises in the past 60 years, through the three ways of enterprise self-recommendation, recommended by industrial associations and recommended by experts and scholars.

Before the award ceremony, Ba Shusong, famous economist and deputy director of Development Research Center of the State Council Financial Institute, made a speech with the theme of  Ningbo merchant transformation and development after the crisis.
