To celebrate the new China 60th anniversary, and the feats of our great motherland, the Group held the chorus. Nine teams from each department, altogether about 200 people attended this competition. Through careful preparation and rehearsal, their singing was greatly improved in a short time. 21 evening, chorus member strutted onto the scene full of energy and confidence, showed their clear voice and exquisite dance. Meanwhile, showed the company's vast employees' passion and elegant demeanour to go upper. On the global economic crisis, the Group economy boosted. Over 200 employees on behalf of the entire staff attended the chorus, not only show the staff's spirit, meanwhile embody the Group's economic strength.

 

Careful rehearsal

The rehearsal room was intense but orderly, having a warm atmosphere. Employees of each department were full of spirit and energy, listened to the adviser's demonstration carefully. Besides dealing with the busy daily routine, members also had to attend the rehearsal. Everyone actively overcaome the difficulty. Some members attended the rehearsal in spite of illness. Some were tired of standing, some had sore throats because of singing, without complaint. The members reflected overall awareness of services and strong collective sense of honor. People coordinated their efforts to a common goal, that is, playing the main melody of good Communist Party, good socialism, good reform and opening-up, great motherland, good people of all nationalities and good Guangbo Group, to greet the great motherland. Almost all employees showed, participating in such chorus organized by the company, sending a gift to New China's 60th anniversary in this way, will become the most memorable recollection during they work in Guangbo. It's the life experience that definitely should not miss.

Cooperate highly

After the distribution of the Notice of chorus competition, Shu Yaoping, general manager of Ministry of Foreign Trade, highly regarded and organized departmental staff timely, studied and arranged the chorus, in charge of the preparations by himself. He required 55 colleagues of foreign trade department join the competition, actively participate in this activity. Besides, joined the chorus rehearsal by himself, invited the professional teacher to give on-the-spot guidance. The whole team members' confidence was boosted, having a passion to contribute to the singing. He showed, hoping chorus this way can deliver the good spiritual style of foreign trade department. Leader's great attention and personal participation provided firm organizational guarantee with foreign trade department's excellent result in the chorus competition.

Excellent performance

At 7:00 p.m., the competition started successfully under people’s aspiration. Printing sub plant team performed first, singing "Ode to the Motherland" magnificently. When the chorus from inport and export company sing "The Song of Yangtze River" together, that bravura scene seems to have a tremendous strength. Through the variations of voice, color and motion, they greatly arouse the audience’s enthusiasm. The song “Today is your birthday” sang by employees from No.5 paper products plant calling out the common aspiration of wishing your birthday, my motherland. “Unity is strength” sang by administrative center team showed Guangbo people’s lofty aspiration. Sincere words “applause for Guangbo, applause for the motherland” deeply moved the hearts of the people at the scene, which won the warm applause from entire audience. “My Motherland” performed by No.4 paper products plant enhanced the effect of the performance, conveyed employees’ hard work, unity of all, innovation and create brilliant enterprise spiritual presence and stable firm confidence. Erotogenic singing brought fine pleasures to the audience. Applause, singing and cheers rose and fell. All of a sudden, the lecture hall was turned into an ocean of joy. Ecah chorus team singing loudly, neat turn-out, embodied Guangbo people healthy mental outlook and good sense of community. “Night at the Naval Port”, “Say a Word in Heart”, “Chinese Kids” these songs not only called out employees’ patriotic enthusiasm and national sentiment, but firmly called out the ideal and faith of socialism and the will to serve the motherland. “Flying Red Flag”, “Tibetan Plateau”, "In Beijing's Jinshan” these songs closely link us and motherland, national development, revealing the theme of praising great motherland and undertaking a sacred mission. At last, the competition was climaxed by "Unforgettable Tonight" profoundly sang by No.2 paper products plant

The special guest

Group president Wang Liping was invited to be the guest of this chorus. Referring to revolutionary songs, he said with deep feelings. Participating in tonight’s singing gala was regarded as a rare moment. “The whole staff participate jointly in the revolutionary song chorus, which is the first time in Guangbo. The number of people rose from over 20 that year to 6000 now. Recalling the history, we’re filled with emotion. Guangbo can grow into a modern enterprise group from the debt-ridden small factory, should express thanks to the Party and government departments’ care, thank for the leaders of all levels and various circles of society’s great support. Today’s Guangbo depends on the whole people’s struggle, is the result of everyone’s hard work. In the past 17 years, we gained lots of achievements. However, we still need to strive continuously, own the love to our motherland, serve the country with production and construction.

Watching with enthusiasm

At 6:00 p.m., although there’re 30 minutes before the performance, it has long been a sea of people in the lecture hall. Every employee who’s waiting for the performance has excited and proud expression on his face. When the national anthem played, everyone at the scene all stand up, sing the national anthem and salute. The singing of classic revolutionary songs go off into the applause in the field. “Tonight, I'm proud of being a Chinese. I’m proud of being a Guangbo people. I’m excited of praticipating in such a party with the whole co-workers. As a member of Guangbo, we should devote our passion into the daily work, integrate united, professional and meticulous work style into Guangbo culture.” Said excitedly by Xu Chunli from printing sub plant, when interviewed after the performance.

Results of the competition

According to the evaluation criteria announced by the host at the beginning of the competition, through judges open and fair judgement, the results of the competition were announced at the competition scene. The group of No.4 paper products plant won the first prize. The group of import and export corporation, administrative center won the second prize. The group of No.2 paper products plant, No.5 paper products plant and printing sub plant won the third prize. The single awards: Li Zhongyan from No.5 paper products plant won the first prize. Luo Haifeng from No.3 paper products plant and Dai Xuejuan from No.4 paper products plant won the second prize. Wen Yijun from No.4 paper products plant, Zhao Lining and Hu Zhenghao from No.5 paper products plant won the third prize.

Through participating in this chorus competition of revolutionary songs, the whole staff not only expressed the joy of New China’s 60th anniversary, but got educated in revolutionary tradition. Some colleagues said with deep feeling: singing the beautiful songs, we were profoundly influenced by the beautiful songs and insurgent passion. People cultivated their sentiments, fostered their elegance, spoke of unity, spoke of harmonious, also spoke of the whole Guangbo people’s good spiritual outlook.
