The gathering of China paper stationery industry, China stationery and sports products association paper book committee 2010 summit meeting was held in Ningbo on August 28. Guangbo Group, as the chief unit of Chinese Stationery & Sporting Goods Association, undertook and drafted "China paper stationery industry twelfth five-year plan" and "paper stationery environmental protection proposal".

Paper stationeries include various notebooks, albums, books, notepad, name card book, paper bag and paper stationery, which are closely related to people's daily life. Last year, the gross value of our country's paper stationery reached nearly 20 billion yuan RMB, being growing at 20% a year and having a broad market prospect.

At present, there are over 5000 paper stationery enterprises of all types and at all levels in China. However, only 60 enterprises with annual sales of more than billion, like Zhejiang Guangbo, Guangdong Dubian, Ninghai Deli. Industrial concentration is seriously low, can't compete with foreign enterprises. Individual enterprises are still widely using ordinary paper, which is under a lot of pressure of energy-saving emission reduction.

Therefore, Guangbo Group drafted "paper stationery industry twelfth five-year plan" and "paper stationery environmental protection proposal". Called for vast paper stationery enterprises to join together, form dimensions advantage and participat in global competition. Called for each enterprise to actively develop and use eco-friendly products, save energy, protect environment and protect the homeland of human beings together.   

After the summit meeting ended, the delegates went to the scene to visit Guangbo environmentally-friendly stationeries, workshops, showed great interest in stone paper stationery and soy ink stationery.

Guangbo Group President Wang Liping said, Guangbo was China's first publicly listed paper stationery enterprise, was also one of the enterprises firstly participating in developing environmentally-friendly stationery. The price of Guangbo environmentally-friendly paper stationery was 10% higher than ordinary products. But the sales growth was 20% faster than ordinary products. Using environmentally-friendly paper, enterprise, society and customer these three parties were benefited.
